They carved the canyon's crimson seam
Set leviathan to swim the deep
But those hands took nails for me
Those hands cut clay and kindled breath
Wove pulse and marrow, bone and depth
Lifted the blind to see the sun
Touched broken limbs till they could run
They steadied storms with whispered words
Split bread till five thousand were stirred
But those hands were pierced for me
Those feet crossed deserts scorched and wide
Walked Galilee at turning tide
Stood in courts where lies were thrown
Climbed a hill to stand alone
They trod the winepress none could bear
Carried grief through jeering air
And those feet were nailed for me
Those eyes saw morning break from night
Watched kingdoms bloom and burn in sight
Counted sparrows, named each star
Knew how near and how far
They wept at tombs sealed by despair
Saw Peter's fear and held his stare
And those eyes look love on me
All that power, all that flame
All that glory, all that name
Laid aside in wounded frame for me
All that justice, all that right
All that heaven's holy light
Entered death and chose the night for me
All that mercy, fierce and free
All that boundless charity
Rose again in victory for me
Those hands that flung the galaxies
Were scarred and stretched on Calvary
Those feet that walked the raging sea
Stood nailed upon that tree
Those eyes that burned with holy flame
Closed in death and rose the same
All of it, all of it for me
